Canados 120' Caesar
Soon to be launched…
The first Canados 120’ Caesar is approaching completion at our Rome based iconic shipyard. Even if she is hull number 21 of the 120 series, the Caesar is its latest version with a newly redesigned superstructure, fly bridge, aft deck and transom. Fully custom built, hull 21 will be delivered to her owner early May, on time for the summer season where she will cruise mainly the waters of Southern Italy.
Like every Canados, all fixed furniture were hand-crafted in-house while lose furniture were manufactured and custom finished to match the décor by Reflex Angelo. Her particularly elegant interiors have been designed by Cristiano Gatto.
It is important to recall that Canados is the only shipyard left in Italy capable of offering truly custom construction, thanks to its fully integrated carpentry and stainless-steel ateliers. Competitors are subcontracting their interiors which considerably affects their flexibility.
The Canados 120’ Caesar will be introduced to the public at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival.
She is the owner’s third Canados, thus her layout and extremely detailed and rich specification were designed together with her captain and the client. Stabilized with ABT Track electric zero speed fins, her low profile is not the only feature that makes her an extremely stable and seaworthy yacht. Her full Kevlar/Aramat superstructure participate in considerably lowering the center of gravity to enhance comfort and life onboard especially at anchor or displacement speeds. The Kevlar/Aramat superstructure is a standard feature with every Canados and Oceanic model.
Increased fun and pleasure.
The gigantic 7-meter wide swim platform is equipped with a 1.5 tons tender-lift allowing to carry a large tender. Behind the transom door, equipped with a built-in bench seat to enjoy some rest during play time, is an oversized beach club with sofas, coffee table and wet bar, all dressed in satin teak.
The aft deck will be the largest in the category with its dining/lounge area with full walk around configuration. The cut-down transom increases the sensation of having lunch on the water and the usual fiberglass structure has been replaced by laminated glass.
The side of the boat at main deck level feature floor-to-ceiling curved windows offering an unseen before view to the exterior. Following the windows shapes, the bulwarks have been designed to avoid any visual obstruction.
Compared to the previous 120’ Canados, the fly-bridge dimensions have been considerably increased and now offer total versatility with back lighted bar, cooking station, two sofas facing forward at the helm station level, gigantic dining/lounging area protected by the hard top while aft is a free section where four loose lounges will be installed.
All exterior lose furniture are from Italian maker Talenti.
On the fore deck, the dinette is also convertible into a sun pad and can be protected by an awning with four lightweight removable carbon-fiber poles.
Interior details.

The main deck features a double symmetrical saloon with L shaped sofa enhancing social life onboard and offering unobstructed sea views.
For privacy, the gigantic windows are equipped with electrically operated Venetian blinds upholstered in Poltrona Frau Nabuck with contrasted sellier stitching.
The centrally located dining room comes with a table for 10 guests manufactured by Reflex Angelo with a custom-made glass top in “marmo Zebrino” similar to the fly-bridge bar vertical panels.

The wheelhouse, also entirely upholstered in dual tone Poltrona Frau leather will be equipped with state-of-the-art integrated Boëning quad-screen interactive panels allowing the captain to command every organ of the yacht without moving.
The master suite occupies the entire fore section of the main deck and is equipped with two hydraulic gull-wing doors and two foldout terraces.
This specific configuration will extend the master suite to the exterior where the owner will also be able to privatize the fore deck dinette when at anchor.

Technical aspect.
Powered by twin 2600 hp MTU 16V 2000 M96L the 120’ Caesar will be capable of 24 knots cruising and a top speed in excess of 27 knots.
Zero Speed fins stabilization systems, bow and stern thrusters are all from ABT Track and electrically powered to satisfy owner’s wish of having an extremely quiet boat. Sound level was of the highest importance on this boat as she be will used during extended periods. Specific studies have been conducted at the engine room level to reduce propagation of sound and vibrations.
Even the engine door usually located on the aft deck has been relocated to the side passageway so, when left open, the noise of pumps cannot disturb aft deck conversations.
Canados not producing boat with gelcoat skin, the entire hull and superstructure have been faired and painted in a two-tone custom-made DuPont bronze metallic painting.
Like every other Canados in the line, the hull design and geometry have been designed in house to insure the smoothest possible ride.
The Canados 120’ Caesar is built to RINA Class and is MCA Compliant.
